- Pass out Second Marking Period WS and begin reading pages 49-57 (Stop @ “Giving Thanks”) [PDF]
- Break students into groups for each of the following statements: All immigrants should be allowed; we should completely ban immigration; only people who are considered to be in good standing should be allowed; only people with relatives in American should be allowed; only people looking for blue collar jobs should be allowed. Allow groups 10 minutes to create their reasoning.
- Groups present their findings!
