How does the character’s name help you formulate your opinion of him or her? c. Each character’s name is clearly intentional. How does the author’s use of work choice affect the novel? d. How could the novel be changed if different names were chosen? e. Can you think of some other names that either explicitly or implicitly characterize a person or place?
